Visible Light ‘Songs for Eventide” — Available Now!
We couldn’t be more excited to finally share Songs for Eventide, our debut album as Visible Light, now streaming everywhere.
This music was born in Minnesota’s forests, cabins, and open landscapes over the course of two years. Each of the five tracks traces the rhythm of the seasons, inspired by leaf-fall patterns, solar cycles, and the hidden language of trees.
Rooted in the Living World
The album weaves together cello, flute, analog synth, and quartz bowls with field recordings from remote wilderness spaces. In the track Boreal Shift, the sound of frozen branches creaking in Severt’s Woods becomes its own voice, blending with cello harmonics and dissolving into the synthesizer’s pulse. Each piece carries traces of its environment, designed to feel both intimate and expansive.
