Solarium Songs: A New Album Composed with Living Plants
I'm happy to share my new album Solarium Songs with the world today.
Released in celebration of Summer Solstice, we welcome the sun with open arms.
For months, I worked closely with plants like Bromeliad, Yucca Elephantipes, and Crassula ‘Springtime’, capturing their bio-electrical signals and translating them into sound. These signals shaped the textures and direction of each piece through analog synthesis and electroacoustic processing, creating immersive botanical soundscapes that reveal a hidden layer of natural life.
To mark the release, I’ve made a few limited edition cassettes and artist lathe-cut 7”s available now on Bandcamp.
Take a moment to unwind, reset, and listen.
